Tips
  • Snorlax is difficult to catch. It uses Rest frequently, which heals it and puts it to sleep, but it can still attack. Moves do minimal damage. It is recommended to use Pokeballs. Do not defeat or run from Snorlax, as you only have two chances to catch it.
  • The wild Pokemon and fishing encounters on Route 12 are not ideal for training.
  • You can avoid most trainer battles on Route 14 if desired.
  • TM27 (from the lady in Lavender Town)
  • TM48 (hidden item)
  • Leftovers (after catching Snorlax)
  • Super Rod (from the fisherman in the house near Snorlax)
  • Zinc (after battling the Camper)
  • PP Up (hidden item on Route 12)
