Persona 5 Strikers 8/28 walkthrough: Speak to Phantom Thieves, unlock new fusion types, and take on challenging boss requests like Siegfried and Mara.
Walkthrough
- 1When you have control, speak to each member of the Phantom Thieves. If you completed their requests, you will be given an accessory: one from Ryuji, Yusuke, Haru, Futaba, and Makoto each, two from Morgana (the second from Sophia), and one from Ann, plus a decoration.
- 2When done, walk back to the RV. If you did all their requests, one more event will occur.
- 3Go into the RV, watch the scenes, and then walk into the Velvet Room.
- 4You will unlock new fusion types.
- 5When you leave, walk up to Zenkichi. After you do, 7 new requests become available.
- 6For the 'Prison Mail Part 7' request, fuse Norn (level 53+) and Sarasvati (level 48+).
- 7The 'Employee Course Correction' request will give you a new recipe.
- 8'A Thief's Challenge: Wolf Part 2' will add accessories to the shop.
- 9You also have the ability to challenge the boss again for Bond EXP via the 'Painful Past' request.
- 10For 'Trapped in Dystopia', go to the Shipping Railway and make your way to the central area of the map, the one with the square-ish open area. Use 3rd eye (a mechanic that highlights interactable objects and enemies) to find cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) points that were hidden. Make your way up here; there is also a chest if you missed it. The desire is right here.
- 11For 'Dragon Slayer: Enters the Fray', go to the very end of the Kyoto Jail. You will be fighting Siegfried. He doesn't have any elemental attacks but has about enough physical attack power to easily kill party members in one or two hits, so stay vigilant. He also likes to buff himself with Heat Riser, so have Dekaja (a skill that removes enemy buffs) at the ready.
- 12Siegfried is weak to Wind and Nuke and strong against Physical and Ice. To beat him easily, bring Makoto and Morgana after they have at least Dyne-level skills. Start the fight by destroying one of the two machines nearby to inflict him with Burn, then spam Freidyne or Garudyne with Joker until you run out of SP. Switch to Makoto or Morgana, then when they run out, switch to the remaining party member. When all are out of SP, use SP items to refuel and repeat. Time your attacks to interrupt his, so you can remain in control throughout.
- 13Also bring Zenkichi, as he has Dekaja and decent skills.
- 14After you complete the above request, a new one will be added. This time, the boss is at the end of the Okinawa Jail.
- 15The boss is Mara. He is only weak to Psy, nulls Gun, and drains Fire. Bring Haru and a strong Psy persona. The basic idea and method are the same as Siegfried, but you will need a lot more SP, so bring enough SP items to refill you to max twice, minimum.
- 16Other party members recommended are Morgana or Yusuke for healing and freezing, and Zenkichi is also good for spamming Megidola for extra damage.
- 17Mara relies mostly on physical attacks and will charge before some of them, so interrupting him is very important. He will rarely use Fire and Curse abilities.
- 18When you are ready and prepped, it's time to move on to the 'Path to the Abyss' in the Jail of the Abyss.
- 19You cannot leave this jail yet, so head in after the scenes end.
- 20It's a straight path, so keep fighting to the marker. Then a battle against a horde of enemies. Continue down the path; you will encounter both a Bugs boss and a chest containing Owazamono along the way.
- 21Keep moving until you reach the marker where you have a boss Mot fight. Defeat it, and you will reach the checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) and the exit to this part. Head into the next room.
- 22Boss time: You cannot harm this boss at all; just avoid its attacks until the scenes continue. After the scenes pass, Sophia will leave your party temporarily.
- 23In 'Depths of the Abyss', there is a checkpoint where you start, but you cannot warp or leave. Speaking to Futaba restores SP and HP but will respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death) enemies.
- 24Go to the objective marker; there is a chest along the way (level 3) which has a Valkyrie Robe in it. Keep going, and you will have a mandatory battle. The next open area has a chest.
- 25Advance until the next mandatory fight; this one has a lot of enemies, so watch your SP. After that, make your way to the next checkpoint and a boss. It's an Abaddon boss, not very tough; spam Nuke and Psy to win quickly.
- 26Go through the exit. Use the next checkpoint and head in.
- 27You will now need to deal with a HUGE amount of shadows, which might as well be an army. This will include several Liliths and Mots with high-level magic attacks. So be ready to cast Wind and Fire at them and thin their numbers before they can overwhelm you.
- 28Once that is done, watch the scenes. Sophia will rejoin the party, and you can reorganize it and heal up if needed.
- 29You will now fight a Hecatonchires boss. It's not hard; just spam Bless at it, and it will quickly go down.
- 30Watch the scenes, and you will end up at the entrance of a new Jail: the Tree of Knowledge Jail.
- 31This time, though, you can leave the jail and return to the RV. As was the case before, you have access to all the usual facilities.
- 32Here, you will have 4 new requests.
- 33For 'Prison Mail', create a Cu Chulainn using Mot (level 59+) as one of the personas.
- 34For 'Thief's Challenge' and 'Trapped in the Abyss', the target can be found in the Depths of the Abyss near the very end (where you were dropped).
- 35Also, a dire shadow super boss has spawned in the Jail of the Abyss near the entrance.
- 36When you are ready, return to the Tree of Knowledge Jail.
- 37There is only one path; follow it to the objective marker. There is a chest on the way containing Mechanical Heart. There is a Yatagarasu boss at the end of this area.
- 38Again, a single path with a chest along the way. Reach the end and you will fight 2 bosses: Kali, who is weak to Ice, and Dominion, who is weak to Gun.
- 39There is a checkpoint here. Now go to the next area.
- 40Another straight path; there is a chest with HP Incense and a level 3 chest with Balm of Life along the way. Just keep going until you reach the next area.
- 41The start of the Hall of Contracts has a checkpoint. Here you will fight a Metatron boss. He is pretty tough, and partway through, he summons an endless army of mobs of varying types. Spam Electric magic at him over and over until he is defeated.
Tips
- When fighting Siegfried, remember he is weak to Wind and Nuke. Use Dekaja to remove his buffs.
- For Mara, bring Haru and a strong Psy persona. Ensure you have ample SP items.
- In the Jail of the Abyss, speaking to Futaba restores SP and HP but respawns enemies.
- When fighting the Hecatonchires boss, spam Bless attacks.
- In the Tree of Knowledge Jail, Kali is weak to Ice and Dominion is weak to Gun.
- When fighting Metatron, spam Electric magic and be prepared for him to summon many enemies.
