Walkthrough
- 1To begin the Talented Doctor side story, progress through the main story until Chapter 3, when you return to Alabasta.
- 2Head to Alubarna and proceed up the western path. Look for an old lady sitting on a bench; she will initiate the side story.
- 3The old lady needs medicine from a doctor from the Drum Kingdom, but doesn't know his whereabouts. She directs you to someone who was recently treated by him.
- 4Head south from the old lady, then east, towards the double large gates of the city. Find the guard with a blue conversation marker on the northern side of the northern gate, near the save point.
- 5Speak to the guard to learn that the doctor, Nafk, was last seen at the tavern by the castle's gates.
- 6Pass through both large gates. The tavern will be to your west, marked with a mug icon on your map.
- 7Enter the tavern and speak to Nafk. He agrees to help but requires two Gator Bananas to make the Pain-eez medicine.
- 8To find Gator Bananas, fast travel to the **Approach to Desert Byway** in the Desert Near Alubarna. Exit to the desert area.
- 9Defeat the Unripe Banana Gators in this area. There are typically two located here: one near your arrival point and another north of the western end of the bridge.
- 10If you don't get the required drops, rest at a camp in the same area to respawn the enemies and try again.
- 11Once you have collected two Gator Bananas, return them to Nafk.
- 12After Nafk prepares the medicine, bring it back to the old lady to complete the Talented Doctor side story.
