Queen Spider Strategy

Defeat Necesse's Queen Spider by avoiding web shots and poison. Learn to manage summoned spiders and use Greater Healing Potions.

The Queen Spider has several dangerous attacks and mechanics:

• Web Shot: Fires a web projectile that slows you down significantly if it hits.
• Poison Spit: Spits a glob of poison that creates a lingering poison puddle on the ground. Standing in it inflicts the 'Poisoned' debuff.
• Summon Spiders: Summons numerous smaller spiders (Spiderlings and regular Spiders) to attack you. These can quickly overwhelm you.
• Charge: Occasionally charges at you, dealing high damage.

Strategy:

1. Clear Webs: Before the fight, destroy as many webs in the lair as possible to prevent being slowed.
2. Stay Mobile: Constant movement is crucial to avoid Web Shots, Poison Spit, and Charges.
3. Prioritize Minions: The summoned spiders are a major threat. Use area-of-effect (AoE) attacks if you have them, or quickly dispatch them with your main weapon.
4. Avoid Poison Puddles: Do not stand in the green poison puddles. If you get poisoned, use an Antidote or rely on your Poison Immunity Charm.
5. Hit-and-Run (Melee): Get in close after she finishes an attack, land a few hits, then retreat to dodge and deal with minions.
6. Kiting (Ranged): Maintain distance, continuously fire, and circle the arena. Be mindful of the limited space and the incoming spiders.
7. Healing: Use Greater Healing Potions as needed. The 'Poisoned' debuff can drain health quickly, so be vigilant.

Upon defeat, the Queen Spider drops items like the Queen Spider's Fang, Spider Silk Armor pieces, and unlocks Tungsten tier crafting. You'll also gain access to the Snow biome.
