Preparation for Ancient Vulture

Gear up for Necesse's Ancient Vulture with Tungsten armor and ranged weapons. Master fighting this aerial boss and gather Tungsten Ore.

For the Ancient Vulture, Tungsten tier equipment is highly recommended. Ranged weapons are particularly effective due to the boss's aerial nature. Consider accessories that boost ranged damage or provide extra mobility.

• Armor: Full Tungsten Armor set (crafted at an Anvil with Tungsten Bars).
• Weapon: Tungsten Bow with Tungsten Arrows, or a powerful Musket/Shotgun. Magic weapons with good range are also viable. Melee is significantly harder due to the boss's flight.
• Accessories: 'Feather Cape' (crafted with Feathers and Leather) for slow fall, 'Ranger's Emblem' (crafted with Tungsten Bars and Feathers) for ranged damage, or 'Swiftness Ring'.
• Consumables: Superior Healing Potions (crafted with Bottled Water, Gel, and Tungsten Bars), Mana Potions, and plenty of Cooked Food.
• Arena: The Ancient Vulture's Nest is often on a high, open plateau. Clear any small rocks or cacti to ensure smooth movement. Consider building a few platforms to give yourself more vertical dodging options, though the boss often flies above them. Place Campfires for passive healing.

Gathering Tungsten Ore from the Snow biome or deeper caves and smelting it into Tungsten Bars will be your primary task. You'll also need to explore the Desert to find the Ancient Vulture's Nest.
