Before confronting the ultimate challenge within the Demon's Citadel, meticulous final preparations are essential for survival. This phase involves a thorough review of your character's build, equipment, and consumable items. return to the blacksmith, Master Borin, to ensure their primary weapon, such as the Obsidian Cleaver, is upgraded to its maximum potential. Each upgrade level provides a significant boost to damage and can unlock new attack properties.

Review your available Spirit Arts. The boss encounter may favor certain abilities. For instance, if the boss is highly mobile, investing in Arts with wide area-of-effect or tracking capabilities, like Phantom Barrage, will be beneficial. Conversely, if the boss is a slow, heavy hitter, Arts that allow for quick dodges and counter-attacks, such as Blade Dance, might be more effective. Ensure you have a sufficient stock of healing items. The Greater Healing Flask is invaluable, and aim to have at least 5-7 of them. Consider crafting or purchasing any available buffs.
