The Spirit Bow serves as a crucial ranged option for the Mudang, offering a way to engage enemies from a distance, exploit weaknesses, and control the battlefield. Mastering its use, particularly with different arrow types, can dramatically alter combat encounters. The basic Spirit Bow fires standard Spirit Arrows, dealing moderate damage and having a consistent projectile speed. However, the true power lies in the variety of specialized arrows available.

Spirit Fire Arrows are essential for dealing with enemies vulnerable to fire damage, such as the spectral creatures found in the Whispering Woods. These arrows inflict a burning status effect, dealing damage over time (DoT) for approximately 5 seconds, with each tick dealing 15 damage. This can be invaluable for softening up tougher foes or finishing off weakened enemies without needing to close the distance. Be mindful of their slightly slower projectile speed compared to standard arrows.

For crowd control, Spirit Shock Arrows are indispensable. Upon impact, these arrows release a small area-of-effect (AoE) burst that can stagger up to 3 enemies within a 2-meter radius. This stagger effect lasts for 2 seconds, providing a vital window to reposition, heal, or focus on a single high-priority target. The Shock Arrows are particularly effective against groups of weaker enemies like the Hollow Soldiers encountered in the early stages of the game.

Finally, Spirit Piercing Arrows are designed to bypass enemy defenses. They deal 20% more damage to enemies with shields or heavy armor, making them ideal for breaking through the guard of heavily armored foes like the Ironclad Guardians. These arrows have a slightly reduced impact radius but their armor-penetrating capability is unmatched.

Acquiring new arrow types often involves finding blueprints or purchasing them from merchants like the Wandering Peddler.
