- 1After defeating Uth Duna and completing Chapter 1, you will travel to the Oilwell Basin. Once you arrive at Azuz, talk to Gemma. She will introduce you to the mechanics of upgrading armor using Armor Spheres.
- 2From this point forward, you can talk to Gemma in Azuz to access the armor crafting and upgrading menu. Select the armor you wish to upgrade.
- 3Armor can be upgraded to a maximum level that varies based on your Hunter Rank. Lower-tier armor generally has higher upgrade potential.
