Unlocking Talismans: To unlock the ability to forge and upgrade Talismans, you must first defeat the Uth Duna at the end of Chapter 1. Following this, you will travel to Azuz in the Oilwell Basin. Speak with Gemma, who will introduce you to Armor Spheres for armor upgrades and Talismans, which she can forge.

Crafting and Upgrading Talismans: Once unlocked, you can visit Gemma at any time to access the "Forge/Upgrade Talismans" option. While you begin with a basic selection, new Talismans become available as you progress and encounter new monsters. Talismans provide useful skills such as elemental and status resistances, defense boosts, and evasion enhancements, which may not be available on your armor. You can only equip one Talisman at a time, but they can be swapped out whenever you are in your tent, allowing for strategic customization based on the monster you are hunting.
