New Silkbind Attack: Awakened Kinsect Attack

The Awakened Kinsect Attack is a potent new skill for the Insect Glaive, designed to deliver significant burst damage. It allows you to expend all collected essences in a single, powerful strike. By launching your Kinsect at a monster's part, you can inflict substantial damage. Following the launch, you can use a Wirebug to rapidly close the distance to the monster. Upon reaching the monster, you'll absorb essences, mark the target, and then execute a Vaulting Dance.

New Switch Skill: Kinsect Slash

Kinsect Slash is a new Switch Skill that enables a mid-air thrust, integrating both the Kinsect and the Glaive into a single maneuver. Upon a successful hit, the attack transitions into a Vaulting Dance, which grants you an essence. Once you acquire the red essence, you will be unable to extract further essences, but in return, you gain the ability to perform an Enhanced Insect Spiker.

Switch Skill Swap

While not a new skill itself, the Switch Skill Swap system fundamentally alters how existing skills are utilized. This system allows players to change their equipped skills dynamically during combat. It involves two distinct scrolls, a red and a blue one, where players can pre-assign their preferred skills at an Item Box, found in the hub or within a tent during a quest.

The Switch Skill Swap system is poised to revolutionize gameplay in Monster Hunter Rise. In battle, players can seamlessly switch between these two sets, granting access to a wider array of skills. Complementing this system is the Swap Evade, a new defensive maneuver that allows for evasion in any direction by pressing the roll button immediately after swapping skill sets.
