Switch Skills are a new feature in Monster Hunter Rise, similar to Silkbinds but usable without a Wirebug. They function as weapon attacks, with Silkbinds acting as special attacks. Some Switch Skills can significantly alter a weapon's playstyle. The MHR Sunbreak expansion introduced at least 14 new Switch Skills, with one for each weapon type, and more were expected at launch.
