Redstone Mines

Redstone Mines is one of the ten main levels in Minecraft Dungeons. It does not contain a secret level. The gear that can be found as drops in this level include Daggers, Pickaxes, Rapid Crossbow, Wolf Armor, Spelunker Armor, Fireworks Arrow, Harvester, and Corrupted Beacon.

You will likely find both Vases and Supply Chests on this map. Secrets are uncommon, but you will find a few Chests. Chests will show themselves on your map once you've gotten close enough, so be sure to explore the entire map. If you reach the end and are missing a Chest, check your map. The terrain of this level is varied, making it hard to see Chests, so be thorough.

New to this level are Mob Spawners that spawn waves of 4-5 Zombies. These are useful for grinding EXP and Souls, but you won't get item drops from these Zombies after the first wave. It can take a long time, but holding down your attack button and healing when needed will grant a decent amount of EXP over time. This is one of the best ways to gain EXP passively, as the Zombies are infinite. Sometimes, areas with 2-5+ Spawners appear; 2 Spawners is ideal, as 3 can be overwhelming. This level has a difficulty spike due to the overwhelming number of enemies from the Spawners and the lack of Gear Drops from these Zombies.

You will encounter an Evoker, a tough mini-boss. If no other mobs are around, you can shoot arrows at the Evoker from a distance to avoid its ground-attacks, but its Vexes will still reach you. It is often best to engage directly with strong weapons like a Corrupted Beacon or a Harvester.

The boss of this level is the Redstone Golem. A strategy is to kite it around a lava pool until it starts throwing a tantrum. When it does, get close and attack, but retreat before the tantrum ends to avoid heavy damage. Watch your step during the tantrum, as Redstone blocks will spawn on the ground and cause damage. These blocks will eventually despawn. Good artifacts for this fight include Boots of Swiftness, Soul Healer, and Totem of Regeneration.
