Creeper Woods is the first level after the tutorial, and it contains the entrance to the secret level, Creepy Crypt. Due to the game's procedural generation, the exact locations of secrets and chests will vary with each playthrough. This guide will detail what to look for and how to find them.

Gear Drops in Creeper Woods: Swords, Axes, Bows, Hunter's Armor, Wolf Armor, Boots of Swiftness, Death Cap Mushroom, Tasty Bone.

Creeper Woods Secrets and Chests:

1. Vases can be smashed for Emeralds and are often found near Villagers. They do not count as Secrets or Chests.
2. Secrets can appear as Chests that become visible when you approach. Explore every path to find these.
3. Supplies Chests and Vases can be found inside buildings. These do not count as Secrets or Chests but offer loot.
4. Loot Pigs (Chest Pigs) may appear but do not count as Chests or Secrets.
5. Be thorough and backtrack if you miss items, as they are often hidden.

Unlocking Creepy Crypt:

1. Find the 'Creepy Crypt Map' within Creeper Woods.
2. Check your map frequently for a semi-hidden path to the west (left).
3. This path often has many enemies, especially Skeletons, and a small area with Vases.
4. At the end of this path, interact with a glowing red stone button set into a wall to open the crypt.
5. Inside, find the 'Map' on a pedestal. Interacting with it unlocks Creepy Crypt.
6. Collecting the map triggers an Ambush. Defeat the enemies to access deeper areas with more enemies and potential Chests.

Creepy Crypt Overview:

Creepy Crypt is one of six secret levels, tied to Creeper Woods. Once unlocked, it can be accessed from the Mission Select map without needing to unlock it again.

Creepy Crypt Secrets and Chests:

1. Many Chests are found throughout the level; explore each room thoroughly.
2. Some Secrets appear as Chests that materialize when you get close. Check every room.
3. Ambush rooms are common. A Chest spawns as a reward after defeating all enemies in an Ambush.
4. Interactable tombs in the floor can hide Chests beneath them; these are Secrets.
5. Interactable skeletons in alcoves can trigger Ambushes. Defeating the spawned enemies yields a Secret Chest.
6. Redstone puzzles open various rooms. These involve pushing buttons in a visible pattern.
7. After leaving the Crypt through the door that opens post-Lost Tome, you return to Creeper Woods to find any remaining Secrets and Chests.
