Complete Metroid Dread Burenia walkthrough covering all Missile Tanks, Energy Parts, and the Drogyga boss fight. Includes detailed strategies and locations.
Before heading into the depths of Burenia, there are several items to collect back in Dairon. These include Energy Part #3, Missile Tank #21, Energy Part #4, Missile Tank #22, Missile Tank #23, Missile Tank (+) #3, and Missile Tank #24.
Energy Part #3 is located within Dairon's EMMI zone. Fire a missile upwards, then bomb jump to hit a bomb block. Alternatively, use Cross Bombs. Jump to the ledge to collect the part.
Missile Tank #21 is in an earlier large room in Dairon, accessible via grappling beam points across gaps.
Energy Part #4 is found on a ledge above a lava pool. You can collect it now or later with the Gravity Suit for lava immunity. To collect it now, morph into a ball, jump to the ledge, grab on, release morph ball form, and pick up the part. Repeat for the return trip.
Missile Tank #22 is in an easy Speed Booster puzzle within Dairon's EMMI zone. Use the world map to locate it, then Speed Boost to break blocks and reach the ledge.
Missile Tank #23 is located outside Dairon's EMMI zone. Shoot beam blocks, drop a morph ball bomb into blocks on the right, then roll into the Missile Tank.
Missile Tank (+) #3 requires a difficult Speed Booster puzzle. Earn the boost from the EMMI zone below, then carry the boost while sliding and wall jumping. This is best described via video.
Missile Tank #24 is found outside the EMMI zone in Dairon. Shoot two beam blocks, jump into morph ball mode, and bomb the bomb block to the right to access the tank.
After collecting these items in Dairon, travel to Burenia. Here, you can find Missile Tank #25, Missile Tank #26, and Missile Tank (+) #4 before facing the boss, Drogyga.
Missile Tank #25 is collected by using the underwater grappling beam to reach a Spider Railing. Collect the missile pack to the right.
Missile Tank #26 is located atop a giant mechanism. Blast a missile on the left side of the mechanism to reveal the tank.
Missile Tank (+) #4 is found just before the boss fight. Hit the missile block, then flash shift into the missile tank+. Grab the ledge and drop down to collect it.
Before the Drogyga boss fight, it's advisable to reach the Energy Recharge Station to restore health. You can regain health by shooting enemies in the prior room. Use melee attacks and Phantom Cloak if needed. Grapple across grapple points and gaps until you reach the boss door.
Boss #3 Drogyga is an underwater fight without the Gravity Suit. Utilize missiles on the pink tentacle above. Drogyga attacks by whipping tentacles (two low, one high) and spewing fireballs (two blue, destructible with the Arm Cannon; one red, indestructible).
Strategy: Jump over the low tentacles and stay low for the high tentacle. Destroy blue fireballs for resources. Avoid the red fireball. Continue attacking the pink tentacle until Drogyga is defeated.
