Shortcuts:

After the first corner and upon reaching the beach area, you can turn left instead of continuing forward. This path contains item boxes and a ramp that can cut your time depending on the lap and if you have a mushroom.
A mushroom can be used to cross the water.

Tips

There is a side area to the left before the start/finish line containing item boxes, but it offers no other strategic advantage.
The random pipe that was present on the first corner in the original version of this course has been removed.
