    From the capital, head southeast to revisit the Catacombs.

    Enter the front door and use the elevator to reach the underground area.

    Continue north, ignoring the elevator to the left which leads to a dead end.

    Encounter and defeat the Slasher machine enemy, which is weak to thunder attacks.

    Climb the ladder. Take the southwestern path to a fork, then head south to find a small room with enemies and a sparkle.

    Return to the fork and head north, ignoring the stairs going down.

    Enter the room to your right to find the Dimensions artifact knowledge on some barrels.

    Double back west, continue north, then west to another split.

    Head north to find a room with six chests containing: 3 Silver Coins, 3 Pink Spritnite, 2 Elixirs, 2 Full Heals, a Gore Vest, and a Vorpal Weapon (new weapon for Locke).

    Head left, then drop down the ladder on the left side of the room.

    Collect the Blockade artifact knowledge off the barrel.

    Climb the next ladder, then use the elevator north of it to reach the palace.

    Fight the guards in the first room.

    Take either elevator on the north end of the first room to reach the section with a save point.

    Defeat the guards north of the save point.

    Proceed north to the throne room, where scenes will occur, leading to the next dungeon.

  • The Slasher enemy is a machine and is weak to thunder attacks.
  • The Vorpal Weapon is a new weapon for Locke found in one of the chests.
  • There are no significant items or objectives in the prison area accessible from the Catacombs elevator.
  • Once inside the palace, the path to the throne room is fairly linear after the initial rooms.
