Lumina's Sidequest

Learn how to defeat the Reborn Moon boss in Lumina's Sidequest in Lost Sphear. Get tips on party composition, debuffs, and strategy to obtain the Holy Tenet skill.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• The boss uses Lumina's moves, including Air Blast (fast ATB gain), Earth Bind (inflicts Slow), and Holy Tenet (8 hits, ~200+ damage per hit).
• Holy Tenet is a skill Lumina doesn't normally have.
• Inflicting Slow on the boss is highly recommended early in the fight.
• Physical Mar can also be helpful, and its debuff/immunity is tracked individually.
• Poison is effective due to the boss's high attack frequency.

Phases:

1. The Reborn Moon is very fast and attacks frequently.
2. She uses Air Blast, which quickly fills her ATB gauge, granting her another immediate turn.
3. Earth Bind can slow your party members.
4. Holy Tenet is her most dangerous attack, hitting multiple times for significant damage.

Strategy:

• Equip some Love Axioms to help mitigate damage.
• Consider including Sherra and Kanata in your party, especially if you're not familiar with Lumina's skills.
• As soon as the battle starts, try to inflict Slow on the boss using a Momentum Spritnite or a skill like Lumina's Earth Bind. This will reduce her damage output for a few turns, though Air Blast can negate this effect.
• Apply Physical Mar to the Reborn Moon to further reduce her effectiveness.
• Poison the boss; it's a reliable source of damage given how often she attacks.
• Keep your party members spread out. Don't let them stand too close together, as this will result in multiple characters taking damage from a single AoE attack.

• After defeating the Reborn Moon, you will receive the Sunlight Spritnite.
• This item can be traded at any magic consortium for the Holy Tenet skill spritnite.
• Alternatively, you can trade in memories for the Holy Tenet skill spritnite, as Sunlight is a one-use item.
