Basic gameplay

In Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel, players control a hero on a raid with the objective of completing tasks like surviving winter's curse or defeating lords and champions. After completing objectives within a time limit, players must summon and defeat the boss. The game features an overhead view with constant enemy assaults. Heroes begin with a basic attack and a weapon skill. Collecting XP crystals from defeated enemies allows the hero to level up and choose new skills offered by gods or from their own skillset. Autocast skills and attacks function automatically, with the player primarily controlling movement, weapon skills, and dashes. Passive skills offer bonuses or trigger effects when certain conditions are met, such as taking damage.
