How to Beat Forge Master

Defeat Jotunnslayer's Forge Master in the Deep Mines by exploiting its ice weakness and dodging its Hammer Slam and Flame Breath attacks.

The Forge Master is a massive dwarven construct, corrupted by Hel's influence, found in the Deep Mines of the Iron Peaks. He is a slow but incredibly powerful melee combatant with fire abilities.

Phases:

  1. Phase 1 (100% - 50% Health): The Forge Master uses a 'Hammer Slam' (large AoE), 'Molten Punch' (single target, leaves fire puddle), and 'Summon Explosive Constructs' (2-3 constructs that explode after a delay).
  2. Phase 2 (50% - 0% Health): He gains 'Flame Breath' (a wide frontal cone attack) and 'Magma Eruption' (summons several small magma geysers around the arena). He also becomes faster and hits harder.

Weaknesses:

  • Ice Damage: Highly vulnerable to ice-based attacks and enchantments.
  • Lightning Damage: Moderate vulnerability.

Strategy:

  • Dodge Hammer Slam: The Hammer Slam has a long wind-up; use this time to dodge out of the AoE.
  • Clear Explosive Constructs: Prioritize destroying the Explosive Constructs from a distance before they detonate.
  • Stay Behind Him: Many of his attacks are frontal. Try to stay behind him as much as possible, especially during 'Flame Breath'.
  • Watch for Magma Geysers: In Phase 2, constantly reposition to avoid the 'Magma Eruption' zones.
  • Stamina Management: You'll be dodging frequently. Ensure you have enough stamina for evasive maneuvers.
