Versa

First up are the Versa. These guys look like foxes and are pretty common. You might even see a Spritnite-Eaten variant early on. Their main move is Powder Cloud, which can inflict Confusion. That's annoying, but the real danger comes from the final two Versa types, who know Freezing Gaze. If they hit your party with this, you could get Frozen. And if everyone in your party gets Frozen? Yep, that's a game over, so watch out!

Shroomback

Next, we have the Shroombacks. These are more like gorillas and you'll meet them later in the main story. They're not super tough, but they have some nasty Bad Breath skills that can inflict status ailments. Each of the regular Shroombacks has a different skill, but the Crystal Shroomback is the worst – it knows all three! Also, one of the Shroombacks can actually heal itself by eating a mushroom, which can be a pain.
