Exploring the World

Unlock all locked chests in i am setsuna using the World Key. Find Orichalcum, Talismans, and weapons. Discover powerleveling spots like Morbrise Mountain.

As you explore the world of i am setsuna, you will undoubtedly encounter chests that are locked. The World Key allows you to open these chests, which contain valuable items such as Orichalcum (used to upgrade weapons to their maximum stats), powerful Talismans, and new weapons.

Locked Chest Locations and Contents:

• Nive Harbor: Inside the only house. Contains Orichalcum x3.
• Nive Village: On the west side of the village, next to some logs. Contains Megalixir x2.
• Dazzshire Woods: Just north of the southern entrance. Contains Brave Heart Talisman.
• Forgotten Shore: In an area not far from the entrance, near a chest that contains the Windrider weapon. Contains Stop Bit Spritnite.
• Serendale: Cross the southern of the two bridges and it’s next to the building, on the southern side. Contains Orichalcum x3.
• Purikka: Northwest corner. Contains Sacred Heart Talisman.
• Frost Caves: From the southern entrance, go past the third encounter (three Poison Puff-Puffs) and up the incline, then to the left will be the chest. Contains Iokan Sword.
• Floneia Citadel: Enter town and go right to the end, where you’ll see the chest in between the house and outer wall. Contains Radiant Dagger.
• Floneia Airship: Next to the save point inside. Contains Amadeus.
• Mysleigh Woods: From the northeastern entrance, go up the hill and as far right to find the chest. Contains Fated Memory Spritnite.
• Tenderville: Inside the house on the northern side. Contains Orichalcum x3.
• Morbrise Mountains: Near Glowy-Poly (Spritnite-Eaten monster). Contains Flare Spritnite.
• Hiddbury: Inside Hydor’s hut. Contains Lucca’s Rod.
• Twallusk Mountains: After passing through a secret passage and a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) triggered during the story; the chest is north of there. Contains Orichalcum x3.
• Royburg: Inside Julienne’s house. Contains Valkyrie Bow.
• Blackwhelm Cave: Cross the ice bridge and go west, then in the next small area, head straight south to find the chest. Contains Resonance Spritnite.
• Floeberg Waters: At the eastern entrance of the second icy area, follow the path to the first split and take the eastern one; the chest is at the end of this path. Contains Stun Bit Spritnite.
• Archimell Ruins 1: First floor; From the entrance, go east, then south and west at the first split. Head south to a pair of stairs (one east and one west), taking the west pair and going straight west to the chest. Contains Crisis Dagger.
• Archimell Ruins 2: On the second floor, teleport to the lower area and the chest will be just northwest of the teleport device. Contains Sigtyr Spritnite.
• Gatherington: Behind the house in the southeast corner. Contains Daemon Impact Talisman.
• Fridging Caves: In the second area, head straight east after the second encounter. Contains Intuitive Heart Talisman.
• Fridging Heights 1: In the first area, cross the third bridge and head straight east. Contains Megalixir x2.
• Fridging Heights 2: In the second area, in a small alcove in the northern section of the area after crossing the first bridge. Contains Harmonic Balance Spritnite.
• Magna Valley: Northwest corner of the second area. Contains Stoic Heart Talisman.
• Ithees Ruins 1: On the second floor, go through it normally until you reach the second bridge you can turn. Cross it going north and the chest will be to your right. Contains Orichalcum x3.
• Ithees Ruins 2: On the third floor, build the two-long bridge and cross it to the north. Head straight north to find the chest. Contains Brave Will Talisman.

Powerleveling Spots:

If you need to increase your levels, there are several effective grinding spots:

• Morbrise Mountain: The Glowy-Poly is the easiest Spritnite-Eaten monster, yielding 1,000 EXP.
• Twallusk Mountain: The Silvara will give 3,000 EXP. All Spritnite-Eaten monsters give 1,000 EXP each.
• Floeberg Waters: Groups of Rocky enemies have less HP than the Silvara and there are five in a group, providing at least 5,000 EXP per battle. These are found at the beginning if you enter from the western exit. Using the Blowbeat move with Endir, and equipping Spritnite such as Combat Instinct, Resonance, and Ultimate Truth (for critical hit chance) can help one-hit them. Physical Pride can be added if you are having trouble.

Secret Area and Unique Weapon:

In the northwest corner of the map, you will find an island with a forest. Enter Morthshaw Woods and proceed to the dead end where a portal awaits. Stepping through this portal leads to a secret area where the game developers are located. One developer, south of the front gate, can buff monsters to your level. In the northern house within this area, you can find a chest containing Endir's weapon, Momentum.

Additionally, other islands across the world contain unique ingredients for new recipes. The towers, some accessible only by airship north and south of the Last Lands, contain bosses you have previously fought.
