Endirs Sidequest

You'll face Hapsper alone as Endir. It's a tough fight, so aim for Endir to be around level 50.

Before the fight, make sure to equip some helpful Command Spritnite. Aura, Battlecry, and Radiance are highly recommended. For support, consider Returner, Megalith, Enigma, and Avenger. These will help you regain HP and MP when you attack, and MP when you take damage. Avenger specifically damages Hapsper whenever he attacks.

Commanding Wave is another good choice to increase your ATB speed, letting you act more often.

Since you're fighting solo, you don't need to worry about hitting multiple party members. Just focus on Endir's actions.

Hapsper has a couple of particularly dangerous physical attacks: Finishing Blow and Back Slash. Both can deal over 200 damage, so keep your HP topped up.

It's a good idea to use a Purikka Cobbler Salad before initiating the fight to get a stat boost.

All of Hapsper's attacks are physical. To help mitigate this, equip the Iron Vow Spritnite to significantly boost Endir's defense.

The biggest threat is Hapsper using Howl, which buffs his attack power by about 50%. A Back Slash that normally hits for 260 could suddenly do 390 damage, which is a huge problem.

If Hapsper uses Howl, your best bet is to play defensively. Just wait for the buff to wear off naturally, healing after every turn using Aura or Hi-Potions.

When Hapsper misses an attack, that's your prime opportunity to strike back, especially using Radiance.

Be aware of his final attack, Death Throes. With his attack boosted, this can deal close to 500 damage, so be ready to heal immediately if you survive it.

After defeating Hapsper, you'll receive the Genesis Spritnite. More scenes will play out, and you can then return to your airship.
