Alright, let's dive into the side missions on Shoreside Vale in Grand Theft Auto III — The Definitive Edition. These can be a fun way to earn some extra cash and test your skills outside the main story. We've got a few distinct ones here, so let's break them down.

Side-Mission: Uzi Money

For this mission, you've got a couple of vehicle options. A bullet-proof Patriot is ideal, but a fast car will do in a pinch. If you're going the car route, make sure you've got plenty of Uzi ammo stocked up. The main goal here is to take out twenty members of the Purple Nines using a drive-by with your Uzis. Just cruise around Shoreside Vale and hunt them down.

Alternatively, if you opt for the Rhino tank, you can use its cannon. Any Purple Nines you hit with the cannon, including those in cars, will count towards your target of twenty.

Side-Mission: Toyminator

This one's a bit like those RC car missions you might have encountered before, but with a twist. Head to the parking lot behind your hideout to find the special Toyz Van. Your objective is to locate and destroy three specific target vans. The good news is there's no time limit, but you're limited to using only four RC cars throughout the mission, so try not to waste them!

Side-Mission: Rigged to Blow

Once you kick this mission off, you'll have a tight six-minute window to get a specific Infernus car from the parking lot behind your hideout to a garage located in St. Mark's. Be warned: this car is sensitive, much like Toni Cipriani's 'Blow Fish' mission. Too many bumps or crashes, and the car will explode, failing the mission and taking you with it.

Your best bet is to head towards one of the Porter Tunnel entrances – there's one in Wichita Gardens and another near Francis International Airport. Drive through the tunnel into Portland. Once you emerge in Harwood, make your way to St. Mark's. Don't sweat the Mafia guys with shotguns; they seem to be taking the day off and won't bother you. Drive the Infernus into the designated garage. After that, you can head back to Shoreside Vale however you like. Once you're back, get the Infernus repaired at a Pay 'N' Spray. Finally, carefully park the pristine Infernus back where you originally started the mission. It needs to be in perfect condition to complete the objective.

Side-Mission: Bullion Run

Note: Before you start this mission, it's a good idea to grab a Hoods Rumpo XL and bring it with you. Also, make sure you're stocked up on Uzi ammunition.

After starting the mission, head to the phone to get things rolling. You'll have six minutes to collect thirty pieces of platinum scattered around Pike Creek from a plane crash and deliver them to the garage. As you grab more platinum, expect your Wanted level to increase, so be ready for some drive-by action at any moment. The platinum cargo will slow down your van, so it's smart to make drop-offs at the garage every five to ten pieces you collect. Keep doing this until you've delivered all thirty pieces, and you'll be done.

Side-Mission: Rumble

When this mission begins, make your way to your hideout to pick up D-Ice's brother. Once he's with you, head over to the Staunton View picnic area. Here's the strategy: get out of the vehicle, stand your ground, and just hold down the Attack button. Your character will continuously swing their bat.

It might not be the most stylish approach, but it's effective. To be safe, consider grabbing some Body Armor beforehand in case things get dicey. You'll successfully complete the mission once all the Purple Nines have been dealt with.
