- Save the Crustaceans (requires rescuing Wee Pincers)
- A Lingering Regret (requires Golem Fingers from Rock Golem)
Completing A Lingering Regret rewards the Silver Key, which can open locked Treasure Chests in Folca and Seedhollow.
When ready to advance the story, speak with Rackam on the Grandcypher and choose to Depart to travel to Phondam.

The Phondam Isles are hazardous with molten rock and lava. Navigate carefully, jumping over magma rivers. A Collection Point is behind your starting position. Look for a Goldslime behind a pointed rock.
Retrieve the Archive Entry: Partially Scorched Memo from an island on the right. Open Treasure Chest (1) on a left island to find the Colossus Cane Omega, a Stinger weapon for Io. Locate a Silverslime near a wall.
Find Treasure Chest (2) southeast along the lava river. Shrouded Treasure Chest (3) is up a hill, marked by Mirage Stones, containing a Champion Merit.
Use the Hallowed Ground crystal on a higher rock ledge to the left to find Treasure Chest (4) and Save.
Proceed up the stone path to trigger an event.
Chase the primal beast that abducted Lyria

Drop off the edge of Frightflame Altar and find a Wee Pincer at the base of the wall. Resume the chase as the volcano becomes active and the path sinks into magma.
Follow the objective markers, jumping across gaps. The serpent-like Primal Beast, Vulkan Bolla, will attack. This is the first of three encounters. During this phase, Vulkan Bolla uses basic attacks. It flees when its HP reaches 90%.

Vulkan Bolla moves between magma streams, sometimes breaking the path. Magma waves will flow across the path; seek shelter behind rock outcroppings. Areas requiring shelter are marked on the map. The waves increase in speed and frequency.
You must also move quickly through the area as the route can become covered in magma, leaving no path forward.
