- 1Act 1 Finale: Berserker Boss Fight
- Before the door bursts open, look left for Cog Tag CT11.
- 2Lure the Berserker to burst through the door.
- 3Head outside and left to find the last Cog Tag, CT12, in Act 1.
- 4Target the Berserker with the Hammer of Dawn twice. Aim when it's stunned or still.
- 5Killing the Berserker concludes Act 1.
- 6Act 2: Nightfall Overview (A21)
- Objective: Reach the Stranded Outpost to acquire a Junker vehicle.
- 7You will drive the Junker for one chapter.
- 8The chapter ends with a large firefight.
- 9New enemies introduced: Boomers (heavy Locust with Boomshots) and Kryll (invincible, attack in darkness).
- 10Crucial: Always stay in the light to avoid Kryll. Shoot propane tanks to progress.
- 11Act 2: Tick Tick Boom (A22)

- 19Take the path left of the Emergence Hole to a large room with low walls.
- 20Head straight to find the exit hallway.
- 21Shoot the Locust that opens the door and proceed.
- 22In the room with rusted shelves, find grenades behind one if needed.
- 23Head through the next door into an alley.
- 24To the right is an ammo box. To the left is the combat area.
- 25Take cover behind the first wall. Aim your Lancer at the large hole in the wall to the north.
- 26Take out the sniper that appears first.
- 27Engage enemies outside using Lancer for distance or shotgun for close range.
- 28Help allies across the fence if they are struggling.
- 29Inside, head right. Two Wretches will appear; use the shotgun.
- 30Take cover and shoot, or use the shotgun on Casual difficulty.
- 31This is where the left and right paths meet.
- 32Right Path:
- Roadie run down the alley.
- 33Head up the broken cement structure.
- 34A falling pillar will create a checkpoint. Climb over it and up the stairs.
- 35Watch the cutscene and defeat the Boomers using grenades and Lancer clips.
Tips
- Berserker Fight (Insane Difficulty): Requires three Hammer of Dawn bursts. Ensure the beam is continuous until recharge is needed for the third blast.
- Kryll Avoidance: NEVER enter darkness. Always stay in the light.
- Tick Tick Boom (Left Path): Use grenades and shotgun for Boomers. Conserve ammo if possible.
