This guide covers how to obtain raw materials and essential early-game tools in Fields of Mistria. Raw materials are primarily acquired through completing quests, which can be found on the Request Board in Mistria or received via mail. These quests offer various rewards, including tools necessary for gathering other resources.

Basic Quest Mechanics:

Quests, also known as Story Quests or Requests, are objectives that provide rewards upon completion. Multiple quests can be active simultaneously and do not expire. Progress is tracked in the Journal's Quests tab. Quests can be initiated at the Request Board in Mistria (located between the General Store and The Mill) or through mail. Completion often involves donating items via a Donation Box or speaking to a specific character.

Introductory Quests:

1. Greet the Townsfolk: Talk to all 22 townsfolk and then Adeline. Rewards: 3 Potato Seeds, 100t, 20 Renown.
2. Museum Donations Wanted: Meet Errol at The Museum in The Narrows after receiving his letter in Spring, Year 1, Day 2. Rewards: 100t, 20 Renown.
3. Do a Bro a Favor: Talk to Olric after reaching Spring, Year 1, Day 2. Rewards: Worn Pickaxe, 20 Renown.
4. Something's Bugging Me: Meet Luc at The Inn after reaching Spring, Year 1, Day 4. Rewards: Worn Net, 20 Renown.
5. Friday at the Sleeping Dragon Inn: Meet Reina at The Sleeping Dragon Inn after receiving her letter in Spring, Year 1, Day 5 (after 6 PM).
