Guide to solving the Doll Shelves puzzle in Kurosawa House, obtaining the Butterfly Key, and finding the Doll Stand Shadow ghost in Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake.

Alright, we're in the Kurosawa House, specifically the 2F Doll Stand Room. You'll see some doll shelves here. Your goal is to interact with them by pressing [X] when you're near them. You should already have the Twin Doll Heads, which is key to starting this whole thing.

This kicks off the Doll Shelves Puzzle. Basically, you've got these dolls, and you need to arrange them so the two 'twin dolls' end up in the top row. There's an empty space that you'll use to slide the other dolls around. It can be a bit tricky, and you only have 60 seconds to figure it out, so don't get too flustered if you don't nail it on the first try. You can retry as many times as you need!

Here's how the board is set up, with numbers representing the dolls you can move, 'H' for the ones that are stuck, and '[]' for the empty space:

The puzzle is all about moving these numbered dolls using that single empty space. The goal is to get the two red twin dolls to the very top row. There are multiple ways to solve this, but here's one sequence that works:

Puzzle Solution: 7 -> 10 -> 9 -> 6 -> 7 -> 10 -> 11 -> 8 -> 4 -> 3 -> 7 -> 10 -> 11 -> 8 -> 4 -> 2 -> 1 -> 3 -> 7 -> 8 -> 7 -> 2 -> 1 -> 3.

Once you successfully complete the puzzle, you'll be rewarded with the [BUTTERFLY KEY]. This is super important because it's what you'll need to unlock that last door back in the Entrance area.

Keep your eyes peeled after solving the puzzle, because a new hidden ghost appears! When the filament on your camera starts to glow, aim it at the dark spot to the right of the doll shelves. Snap a picture of the [Doll Stand Shadow] to get 1000 points.

After you've dealt with the ghost and grabbed the key, it's time to move on. Just exit this room, pass through the Flickering Room, and head into the Guest Room.
