ALL GOD'S VILLAGE - KIRYU, TACHIBANA (2)

Navigate All God's Village in Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake. Find the Right Twin Statue Key and face the Men in Dark. Explore new areas or chase Mayu.

Alright, you're in the All God's Village area now. From where you are, just keep heading left. You'll spot a house with a locked entrance, but don't worry about that just yet. There's a Save Point nearby, so use it if you feel the need to record your progress. After saving, continue heading left.

You'll come across a mound – check it out, you can find some [TYPE-14 FILMS] there. After grabbing those, turn right and make your way to the next mound. You'll notice a lot of crimson butterflies fluttering around this spot. Give this mound a good look, and you'll find the [RIGHT TWIN STATUE KEY].

Mini-Boss Fight: Three Men in Dark

Strategy:

As soon as you grab that key, a Man in Dark is going to pop out from the mound to surprise you. If you try to retreat, you'll find yourself surrounded by two more Men in Dark from behind. It's a bit of a tight spot!

1. Dodge and Escape: Your first instinct might be to dodge the initial attacker and run left towards a small bridge. If you just want to skip the fight, you can actually run past this bridge. All the ghosts should fade away if you get far enough away.
2. Engage the Ghosts: If you decide to fight, don't go too far across the bridge or too far away down the street. The key here is to group them up. You've fought Men in Dark before, so you know the drill: try to get them close together and fight them as a single unit.
3. Stay Safe: Keeping your distance from the ghosts is generally a good way to stay safe, unless you're aiming for those tricky Zero Shots.

Once you've dealt with them (or run away!), you'll have a choice. You can either continue heading left to discover new areas, or you can backtrack to Kiryu, Tachibana to try and catch up with Mayu. Honestly, I'd recommend exploring the new places. You won't get another chance to come back here in the next chapter, so make the most of it now. Take that left bridge and keep moving forward. You might even trigger a cutscene where Mio's sixth sense kicks in, recalling a pilgrimage of the priests.
