Advanced Chemistry (A)

Your guide to completing the 'Advanced Chemistry (A)' mission in Far Cry 4. Learn how to capture the Rochan Brick Factory, deal with hallucinations, and defeat the chemist.

Alright, so you've got another Balance of Power mission on your hands with 'Advanced Chemistry (A)'. This one's tied to Amita's side of things, so if you went with Sabal earlier, this might be locked out. Amita wants you to snag the Rochan Brick Factory – apparently, it's key for processing opium. First things first, head to the initial objective marker. You can stock up on ammo and grab any new guns you might need there. Once you're prepped, make your way to meet up with Amita on the hill.

Stealth might be a bit tricky here, honestly. The factory is pretty large, and there's an enemy truck doing rounds on the perimeter. Your main goal right now is to shut down three generators. These things are filtering the air inside, making it breathable. Once they're offline, you'll be able to get the main door open and head in.

Heads up: Don't go blowing up the generators! You need to interact with them directly to shut them down. If you're having trouble finding them, don't sweat it too much. Amita will eventually mark them on your map after a little while.

You'll probably notice some elephants being held captive nearby. If you've unlocked the riding skill, they can be a massive help in clearing out enemies. If not, it's probably best to just leave them be and focus on the generators. Remember, taking too long to find them means Amita will just point them out for you.

Once all three generators are down, the main door will unlock. Head inside, and you'll probably notice things getting a little weird pretty quickly. As you take down the first few enemies, they'll start to dissipate into clouds of colored smoke. This is your cue that Ajay is hallucinating. Just keep pushing forward, dealing with the enemies as they appear. You'll eventually find the chemist. Take him down, but don't be surprised when he reappears. Keep shooting him until you can actually progress. Once you can move past him, make your way to the exit, and the mission will wrap up.
