Walkthrough

Head to the waypoint (a marker on your map you've manually placed as a destination) Tariq indicated and find stairs leading down to a submerged tunnel.

Swim through the tunnel, looking right for a broken gate. Keep swimming straight until you hit a fence, then turn right.

At a dead end, push aside a floating barrel to reveal stairs and an air pocket.

Swim up from the air pocket, climb to the top, and move through a hole in the wall.

When you see the outside, head right to a gate and watch a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically).

After the cutscene, defeat 3 guns on the ground and 4 guns above.

Head to the door and defeat another gun that emerges.

Lift the gate and wait for your stamina to recover before engaging 2 guns around the corner.

Proceed to defeat 2 more guns across from you to your left.

Inside, face 4 guns up top.

You have the option to kill 50-60 Biters for XP and items, or climb up and jump across to the right, then left.

About halfway across, deal with 2 guns that start shooting.

Upon reaching the other side, kill 9-11 Biters below to gain entry.

Watch a cutscene, then fight about 12-16 Biters and 4-6 Runners.

After clearing the enemies, leave the room and watch another cutscene.

Follow Jade into the next room and through the doors.

Continue following Jade until you reach her zombie version and watch a cutscene.

Fight Tahir. When he calls for backup, kill the 4 additional guys first before focusing on Tahir.

After defeating Tahir, leave the area. A lot of Biters will have respawned; you can either kill them or run past.

Head to the exit where 2 guys are waiting; kill them.

Equip items and weapons from the nearby stash.

Head to Troy to discuss the plan.

Tips

It is best to complete the Chasing Past side quest as you will pass by the museum entrance.
Be quick when swimming in the submerged tunnel to reach air pockets before drowning.
If you choose not to fight the initial Biters, climb and jump across the area.
Equip all available items and weapons from the stash near the exit.
