Walkthrough

At the start of the level, hit the switch directly in front of you. The surrounding walls will lower, revealing Mancubi.

Kill all the Mancubi in the room.

After they are all dead, new openings will appear, and Cacodemons, Pain Elementals, and Hell Knights will emerge. Kill them all. (Pain Elementals appear at high skill levels).

Once all enemies in this area are dead, return to the level's starting point.

You will find several Barons of Hell (and Pain Elementals at hard skill levels) in this area. Kill them all. While here, collect the Box of Rockets and the Invincibility Sphere.

After defeating all enemies, proceed through any opening in this room.

In the next area, go through the opening directly across from you.

Locate and kill two or three Mancubi that appear in this room.

Once all Mancubi are dead, return to the level's starting point.

You will see a second switch on the pedestal where the first switch was located. This is the exit switch. Hit it to complete the level.

Tips

Be prepared for multiple waves of enemies, including powerful Barons of Hell and Pain Elementals on harder difficulties.
The Invincibility Sphere can be crucial for surviving the encounters with Barons of Hell.
Listen for enemy sounds to help locate them, especially when they are not visible on your minimap (a small map displayed on your HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap)).
