The first step involves gathering Luminous Crystals, which are scattered throughout the outer caves of the mountain region. You will need to collect at least 75 Luminous Crystals to power the initial unlocking mechanisms. These crystals can be mined from glowing veins that pulse with a soft light.

Next, you must locate Echoing Geodes, rare mineral formations that resonate with the caverns' energy. These geodes are often found in hidden alcoves and require careful observation to spot. You will need to find 20 Echoing Geodes. A crucial part of this quest involves deciphering ancient glyphs that provide clues to the barrier's weakness. These glyphs are etched into the walls of the mountain caves and require the use of a Glyph Reader, an item you will acquire early in this questline. You will need to find and translate 10 such glyphs. The final stage of unlocking the Crystal Caverns involves a ritual at the Resonant Altar, located at the peak of the mountain. This ritual requires the sacrifice of 5 Pure Quartz Shards, which can be obtained by completing a challenging mining mini-game within the outer caves. Successfully completing the ritual will shatter the magical barrier, granting you access to the Crystal Caverns and its many secrets, including Elsa's Ice Palace.
