As you expand your presence in the Wishblossom Ranch, you'll have the opportunity to welcome new residents to your growing community. To do so, you'll need to construct new homes for them. This process involves gathering specific materials and utilizing the crafting station. Each new villager will require a unique house blueprint, which can be obtained through various quests or by purchasing them from Scrooge McDuck's Store. The materials needed will vary depending on the complexity and style of the house, but common resources like Wood, Stone, and Iron Ingots are frequently required. For instance, a basic cottage might need 50 units of Wood and 25 units of Stone, while a more elaborate dwelling could demand 100 units of Wood, 50 units of Stone, and 10 Iron Ingots. ensure they have a sufficient quantity of these resources before attempting to build. The construction itself is a straightforward process once the materials are gathered. Simply open your inventory, select the house blueprint, and choose a suitable location within your village limits. The game will then prompt you to confirm the construction, and after a short animation, the new home will be erected, ready to house your next welcomed friend.

It's important to strategically place these new homes. Consider proximity to essential services like crafting stations and shops, as well as the overall aesthetic of your village. Villagers will often have specific preferences for their home's location, which can sometimes be influenced by their personality. For example, a villager who enjoys nature might thrive in a home closer to the Whispering Woods biome, while a more social character might prefer to be near the village square. Additionally, remember that each villager has a specific house size, so ensure you have adequate space before initiating construction. Some advanced house blueprints might even require rare materials like Dream Shards or Gold Nuggets, so keep an eye out for these during your explorations of the Wishblossom Ranch's 13 map areas.

To facilitate the building process, it's highly recommended to establish efficient resource gathering routes. Designate specific times for chopping wood, mining stone, and foraging for other essential crafting components. This will prevent you from having to interrupt your main questlines or villager interactions to gather materials. Furthermore, upgrading your tools, such as your axe and pickaxe, will significantly speed up resource acquisition. A Level 2 Axe, for example, can chop down trees twice as fast as a Level 1 Axe, making a substantial difference when gathering large quantities of Wood.
