Detailed walkthrough for Part 20 of Dishonored: Death of the Outsider. Learn how to bypass security, find loot, and complete objectives in this critical mission segment.
- 1To get past the elevator lobby mic guard without suspicion, tell him the door code learned from Pena in B1. He will allow Billie through multiple times. If Billie lacks the door codes, attempting to enter a second time will alert him.
- 2For a stealthier approach that avoids 2F rooms, go to the 2F balcony. Shoot a hagpearl (or any projectile, though hagpearls are silent) through the openings in the locked control room window to hit a console button. This raises or lowers the vault to 3F or B1, respectively. Any projectile can work, but hagpearls are quietest. Be aware that waking the sleeping employee is possible.
- 3A hagpearl can be found in the 4F maintenance area. Raising the vault is optional for loot. If the front guard is awake, moving the vault will cause him to radio in. Quickly use the microphone to calm his fears and prevent an alarm.
- 4Note: Bethesda has stated the 2F door guard is an exception to not waking anyone or tampering with security. It is recommended to create a save before interacting with him.
- 5Loot Tips for the closed-off 2F section:
- 6The gate guard carries a pouch. He can be lured out with a noise, or players can use a Displace marker in his office (via the elevator-area rat tunnel) for an ambush.
- 7The electrified grid is an annoyance. Use Displace/Foresight combos to avoid it. Players on Original Game Plus mode can blink atop doors that open into the hall. The grid can be deactivated in Pena's office.

Dolores Michaels' office is accessible via the main stairwell or elevator. It contains only sleeping occupants and no guards, though a clockwork soldier is present but inactive. Dolores' vault key, along with a black bonecharm and other items, is hidden behind a large wall portrait. Use the red button on the desk to reveal it.
- CONTRACT: QUIET AS A MOUSE [900 coins]: Copy Mrs. Jennett's address book files from Dolores' office. This requires maintaining a quiet approach since entering the area.
If the vault has been raised to 3F, it can be opened. However, for the walkthrough's progression, it's suggested to delay this.

Access to 4F is blocked, but can be bypassed using the elevator. Call it to 3F, then climb onto its roof to enter through a floor grate. An arc pylon is on the ceiling; use vents and Displace/Foresight markers to avoid it.
In a desk drawer, a vault release lever can be found. Take this lever, use the maintenance hatch to descend onto the vault, and release its four supports. This will cause the vault to crash into the B1 sewers, unlocking the "Party Crasher" trophy. Dropping the vault into the sewers is fun and can rarely impact stealth mode, though it may occasionally trigger an alert. Always check the Stats tab to monitor any impact on stealth.
