Clearing Infestations in Days Gone involves burning nests to reduce Freaker numbers and unlock fast travel routes. This guide details Infestations by region.

Cascade Region Infestations:

There are two Infestations in the Cascade region. Clearing an Infestation will clear the route for fast travelling and will lessen the number of Freaks in the area.

• High Desert Logging Co. Infestation: Burning the six nests is detailed in the main mission, Clear Out Those Nests, in Section 4.
• Old Pioneer Cemetery Infestation: The three nests are detailed in Section 3: Smoke On The Mountain.

Belknap Region Infestations:

There are three Infestations in the Belknap region.

• Crazy Willies Infestation: Clearing the four nests is detailed in the main mission, Price On Your Head, in Section 4. Burning out these nests provides a vital fast travel path between the Cascade and Belknap regional camps.
• Marion Forks Infestation: This Infestation is embedded in Section 4: Price On Your Head. Clearing it can provide a time-saving fast travel path through the northern areas of the Cascade and Belknap regions.
• Patjen’s Lake Infestation: This Infestation is embedded in Section 4: Price On Your Head. Clearing it can provide a time-saving fast travel path through the northern areas of the Cascade and Belknap regions.

Lost Lake Infestations:

There are three Infestations in the Lost Lake region.

• Berley Lake Infestation: The four nests are revealed by taking the Berley Lake Ambush Camp. A horde frequently travels through the area. One nest is north of the marker inside a small shack; toss a Molotov into it. Two nests are south of the marker: one in a panel truck alongside the road, and another on the ledge east of the truck. The last nest is at the Santiam Tunnel NERO Checkpoint, inside an alcove on the tunnel's wall. Inside this alcove is a container with the fuse required to energize the doors of the nearby Santiam Tunnel NERO Checkpoint.
• Storyline: Infestation Exterminator. Rewards: 2,000 XP, 350 trust, 1,900 credits.
• Rogue Camp Infestation: This Infestation is embedded in Section 7: Not Gonna Kill Anyone.
• Sherman’s Camp Infestation: This Infestation is embedded in Section 7: Not Gonna Kill Anyone.

Crater Lake Infestations:

There are two Infestations in the Crater Lake region.

• Rimview Ranch Infestation: This Infestation is embedded in Section 17: We Will Take Back This World in the mission, Never Give Up Hope.
• Tumblebug River Infestation: This Infestation is embedded in Section 17: We Will Take Back This World in the mission, Never Give Up Hope.

Highway 97 Infestations:

There are two Infestations in the Highway 97 region.

• Cascade Lake Rail Line Infestation: This Infestation is embedded in Section 17: We Will Take Back This World in the mission, Never Give Up Hope.
• Chemult Community College Infestation: This Infestation is embedded in Section 22: The Anarchist Spy.
