Section 10: Moments Of Lucidity

Moments Of Lucidity: Travel to the marker and place a tracker on the approaching NERO chopper. Scout and tag the researcher and four guards. Use a stone to distract the guard nearest the chopper and install the tracker. Approach the researcher from the west, using brush for cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects), to get behind the buildings and record their transmission. Follow the researcher west when they move, staying close enough to continue recording. Distract guards with stones if necessary. Return to your bike by swinging wide to the west.

Riding The Open Road: Travel north to O'Leary Mountain Safehouse to retrieve Boozer's bike. Eliminate the two Drifters near the Safehouse gate. Refuel your bike, loot the premises, and get on Boozer's bike. A cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) will play showing your return to Lost Lake Camp and Boozer's realization of his limitations.

Drifters At Eden Hill: Rikki informs you that Marauders are a threat near the camp. Travel to their camp at Eden Hill and eliminate the eight Drifters. Be aware of tripwires on likely approaches. Freaks and a horde may engage the Drifters. Scout from the high ground to the southwest, tag hostiles, and silently take down outliers before mopping up.

The Only One He's Got: Speak to Addy in the infirmary regarding Boozer's depression.

I Got Work To Do: Head to Iron Mike's Farm to the northeast to find Boozer working in the fields.

Some Kinda Freak Expert: Go to the lodge in Lost Lake Camp to witness Iron Mike and Skizzo at odds over missing locals. Mike insists you accompany Skizzo to the Lucky Lad Mine to investigate. Meet Skizzo at the gate for a race to the mine; winning or losing does not matter. You find the missing men's bikes scavenged.

Lines Not Crossed: Eliminate the eight Newts atop the shack. Have Skizzo boost you onto the lower roof to enter through the upper window. Find the Lockbox Key in the locker at the marker. Get flares from downstairs for Skizzo. Interact to dislodge a beam to access the mine. Follow Skizzo, using your flashlight and his flares. You will encounter a cave-in; enter a nearby passage and kick out the obstruction. The tunnel beyond is unstable and will cave in after you pass. The corpses of Torres and Evans are discovered in a cutscene. Follow Skizzo to find an empty lockbox. Find another lockbox by following Skizzo. A Newt attacks and runs off with the Lockbox Key; give chase.
