General SMG Principles

• Mobility is Key: SMGs allow for faster movement than rifles. use this to your advantage by strafing, peeking aggressively, and repositioning quickly.
• Close-Quarters Dominance: SMGs truly shine in tight spaces. Focus on pushing into or holding choke points, bomb sites, and narrow corridors where their high fire rate and hip-fire accuracy are most effective.
• Economic Advantage: Most SMGs offer a higher kill reward ($600) than rifles ($300). This makes them excellent choices for eco rounds or force buys, allowing your team to build economy faster.
• Spray Control: While SMGs have less recoil than rifles, practicing spray control is still vital for maintaining accuracy during sustained fire, especially at medium ranges.

Specific SMG Strategies

MP9 (CT-Side) & MAC-10 (T-Side) - The Rushers' Choice

These are the cheapest and fastest-firing SMGs, ideal for aggressive pushes and early-round domination.
