Mission Intel: Dam

Objectives:

1. Neutralize the anti-aircraft defenses to allow for renewed RAF bombing runs on the Eder Dam in Germany.
2. Destroy the electrical generators located at the power station at the base of the dam. This will significantly slow down German manufacturing in the Ruhr valley.

Enemy Information:

• Static Defenses: The Eder Dam area is defended by at least 40 enemy soldiers armed with MP40s and Kar98k rifles. There are also at least three anti-aircraft guns, likely 20mm or 88mm.
• Alertness: While the dam was damaged in May's 'Operation Chastise,' the Germans have since repaired it and beefed up the AA defenses. If they get alerted, expect reinforcements from nearby towns (locations 025664, 022637, and 0265619) to arrive quickly, potentially in platoon to company strength.

Mission Method:

1. Infiltration: You'll be parachuting in. The drop zone (DZ) is about a day's travel overland from the dam itself, as the immediate vicinity has increased radar and AA coverage.
2. Exfiltration: You're on your own for getting out – use any means necessary. Captain Price and Sergeant Waters are planning their own extraction.
