MP44 (Known on many other WW2 games as the STG44)

Learn how to use the MP44 (STG44) as the best automatic weapon in Call of Duty multiplayer. Effective at close range.

The MP44 is a German assault rifle (AR) that excels in multiplayer. It is very accurate for an automatic weapon, allowing it to be used effectively as a rifle. To switch it to semi-automatic fire, press the M key.

While its accuracy makes it less ideal for suppressing fire, you can achieve this by slightly wiggling your mouse while firing. On average, it takes about 11 bullets from its 30-bullet clip to eliminate an enemy, so reloading should not be a frequent concern.

The most effective way to utilize the MP44 is at close range. Smaller automatic weapons, such as the Sten and the Thompson, are not as powerful and can be easily overpowered by the MP44.
