Master Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Wager Matches with our comprehensive guide. Learn about Gun Game, Sharp Shooter, One in the Chamber, and Sticks and Stones modes.

Wager Matches are a new feature in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare that introduces a "game economy" to progression. Players can gamble their CoD Points to earn more or for the thrill of high stakes. Only the top three players, referred to as "in the money," receive rewards. There are three tiers of wagers, and all matches start with 6 players. Teams are only allowed in "Gun Game" mode. Players can "Double Down" to double the wager if the lobby agrees. Wager matches feature four random game modes, and accomplishments like headshots or gun kills may not count towards other goals.

Gun Game: Players start with a pistol and progress to better guns with each kill. The first to 20 kills across all weapon classes wins. Being the leader makes you visible on the map. Getting knifed or committing suicide with explosives drops you back a level. Weapons progress from pistols to SMGs, assault rifles, LMGs, snipers, launchers, and finally the Ballistic Knife. Ammunition is unlimited, but perks are disabled. This mode tests close-quarters and long-range combat skills. Strategy involves deciding whether to knife the leader or finish the weapon progression.

Sharp Shooter: Similar to Gun Game, players are given a weapon for 45 seconds before it switches. Kills award predetermined perks and score multipliers. Dying after earning rewards resets progression. Players who stay alive and achieve kill streaks are rewarded with better scores. The weapon and its attachments are random. Success requires mastering weapons you're good at or becoming proficient with all classes. If you can't snipe, focus on survival for the 45 seconds. The game ends when the time limit expires or the kill total is reached.

One in the Chamber: This mode differs as players have only three lives. The winner is the player with the most kills, not the last one standing, discouraging camping. Players start with a knife and a pistol with one bullet. Everyone uses the same predetermined classes. Health is set to Hardcore levels. Missing a shot expends the bullet; killing a player or knifing them grants another bullet. There's a strong incentive to save your bullet and use the knife. This mode combines stealth and requires players to watch their backs, as they don't know if opponents have bullets. Players skilled with knives have an advantage. The game ends when all players are dead.

Sticks and Stones: In this final Wager Match mode, each player is given a predetermined set of weapons.
