The Hard Core mode in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare significantly increases difficulty by reducing base Health Points from 100 to 30, making most weapons capable of one-shot kills. The Mini Map is not always visible on the HUD, and Friendly Fire is enabled, with three consecutive team-kills resulting in a boot.

Key Gameplay Adjustments:

• COUNTER SPY PLANE only jams enemy mini maps if they are using a SPY PLANE or BLACKBIRD.
• MOTION SENSOR and JAMMER require a SPY PLANE or BLACKBIRD (friendly or enemy) to function for scrambling enemy movement. JAMMER can still disable claymores and C4.
• All player actions affecting enemies also affect teammates, including TACTICAL GRENADES, explosives, and Kill Streak Rewards.

Recommended Loadouts and Strategies:

• Perk 1: HARDLINE is highly recommended for faster Kill Streak acquisition.
• Perk 2: WARLORD PRO is suggested, often paired with an IR scope or ACOG for weapon attachments.
• Perk 3: HACKER or NINJA PRO are good choices. NINJA PRO enhances enemy footstep audio, while HACKER can reveal enemy equipment locations.
• Ghost/Ghost PRO: Players using this perk can thwart IR scopes and SPY PLANES. Consider using COUNTER SPY PLANE instead of SPY PLANE, as it requires fewer kills with HARDLINE and offers better concealment.
• Killstreaks: A common setup is COUNTER SPY PLANE (4 kills), SENTRY GUN (6 kills), and ATTACK HELICOPTER (7 kills). Avoid Mortars, Napalm, or Carpet Bomb due to potential team-kills.
• Equipment: Decoys can be viable in this mode. Suppressors are recommended for most weapons, even pistols, due to the low health pool.
• General Tips: Players should possess a mix of caution and good timing. Knowing maps, safe regeneration spots (for screen clarity and reloading), and enemy travel routes is crucial. Use recon tools and jam enemy intel. The Helicopter Killstreak is as effective as Dogs in this mode.
• Weapon Variety: Challenge yourself by using sniper rifles, semi-auto rifles, shotguns, and other less common weapons instead of relying solely on LMGs with HARDENED.

Note: While HP does not recover in Hard Core, the red screen effect disappears, allowing for better visibility and reloading.
