Alright, let's get this done! This is Memory 7, 'Passing The Torch,' and it's another one where we step into Altaïr's shoes. Don't worry about full synchronization here, the game says it's not required. We're basically escorting the Polos out of the fortress and using the Apple of Eden to clear the way.

Walkthrough

You'll start inside the fortress. Just head out slowly with the Polos. As you go, you'll run into some attacking Mongols. To deal with them, you need to use the Apple of Eden. Just press and hold the attack button to charge it up, then let go to unleash its power. Keep doing this to clear out any enemies that get too close.

Once you're past the fortress gates and heading down the hill towards the village, keep using the Apple to clear out groups of enemies. It's pretty effective at keeping them off you and your companions.

Eventually, you'll reach a tower. Climb it and use the Apple of Eden again from the top. This should clear out almost all the enemies in the area, making your descent a lot safer.

After climbing down the tower, keep following the Polos towards the main square in Masyaf village.

As you reach the bottom of the hill, a cutscene will play, marking the end of this part.

Tips

Pay close attention to your allies, the Polos. This memory is pretty strict about how far you can wander from them. If they get attacked and you're too far away, it'll usually result in an instant desynchronization. So, keep them in sight and use the Apple of Eden to keep them safe!

The Apple of Eden is your best friend here. Make sure to charge it up whenever you see a group of enemies approaching.

Completing this memory progresses the story.
