Walkthrough
  1. 1
Begin in Sewer Town - Southwest. Follow the corridor, pick up the Rusty Longsword, and defeat the first enemies.
  2. 2
Grab Mud Ball x3 near a corpse after going upstairs.
  3. 3
Defeat the next enemy, then jump down and turn left to find a Void Beast and Pure Crystal x3. Defeat the Void Beast for Luminous Carbon x1.
  4. 4
Kill the enemy opposite the Void Beast's cell, grab Crystallized Remains x1, and proceed to learn about Weapon Skills.
  5. 5
Defeat the two enemies, pick up Mud Ball x2, and continue down the corridor to find and defeat a third enemy, grabbing Crystallized Remains x1 from a corpse.
  6. 6
In the next room, backstab an enemy and grab Mini Bomb x3.
  7. 7
Defeat the rock-throwing enemy, either by rushing it while dodging or using a Mini Bomb. Clear the next room and grab Stone x5 and the Old Notepad.
  8. 8
Encounter a Sewer Cleaner; dodge its attacks and move away after defeating it to avoid its self-destruct. It drops the Railgun spell.
  9. 9
Talk to the old man for exposition, then proceed down the tunnel to find Pure Crystal x1 at the very end.
  10. 10
Enter a new area and meet Asteria, the Branchweaver, who tasks you with repairing a Branch (fast travel/upgrade point).
  11. 11
Return to the Branchweaver to receive Life Dew x3 and choose one of three starting weapons: Blader Longsword, Blader Swords, or Blader Greatsword.
Tips
  • Master the early combat by performing short attack series and dodging enemy attacks, especially the Void Beast's tail swipe.
  • Use well-timed dodges to avoid the Sewer Cleaner's attacks and its self-destruct protocol.
  • The choice of starting weapon (Blader Longsword, Blader Swords, or Blader Greatsword) does not lock you into a playstyle, as many other weapons can be found later.
  • DLC items can be found in a container by a door just before entering the next section.
  • Choice of one starting weapon: Blader Longsword, Blader Swords, or Blader Greatsword.
  • Life Dew x3
  • Railgun Spell
  • Old Notepad
  • Various early-game consumables and crafting materials.
