Sotenbori, based on the real Doutonbori in Osaka, serves as the primary entertainment hub in Yakuza Kiwami 2. The district is divided by a canal running west to east. The north side features Sotenbori Street, lined with numerous restaurants and shops. The south side comprises the Shofukucho district, offering additional attractions and businesses. Compared to previous Yakuza titles, the southern end of Sotenbori has been streamlined, featuring a main street running east to west, with a block of buildings southwest of it. Notably, "Hoganji Yokocho" and Ashitaba Park are not present in this version of the area.
