Guide to Chapter 5 of Yakuza Kiwami 2, including substories, locker keys, the Amano Building, Tojo HQ, and the Majima Construction introduction.
Returning to Kamurocho, Sayama feels unwell, so Kiryu takes her to Serena. While she rests, Kiryu receives a call from Kashiwagi, requesting a meeting at Tojo HQ. Before heading there, you have free rein in Kamurocho. Thirteen new Substories are available, including one that unlocks Bouncer Missions. Four more lockers can be opened with keys found through gameplay. You can also return to Sotenbori via taxi at any time.
As you approach a taxi, you'll learn that Daigo has been kidnapped and the kidnappers demand you go to the Amano Building. However, you must report to Tojo HQ first. Take a taxi there and attend the meeting with the Tojo executives. Afterward, speak with Yayoi on the first floor. She will give you a golden key. Use it on the bull head sculpture on the north end of the 2nd floor to unlock a storage room to the west. Inside, collect all items, notably the Demonfire Dagger.
Return to the main door and present your proposal to Kashiwagi and Yayoi. Upon exiting, you'll face an assassin. This boss has three health bars and uses gunshots. Essence of Seizing is ineffective; use Charge Attacks to stagger him. After defeating the assassin, leave Tojo HQ and return to Kamurocho. Sayama will call, asking you to buy underwear and beer from Don Quijote. Return to Serena with the items for an embarrassing scene.
Your next destination is Purgatory with Sayama. Before leaving Serena, you'll be reminded that your master, Sotaro Komaki, is in town and wishes to continue your training. He can be found in the Champion District lot and offers four Substories that unlock powerful moves, including Extreme Heat Mode. You'll also be introduced to the Street Bosses sidequest. Remember, Sotenbori is accessible via taxi.
Once you've completed side activities, go to West Park's entrance in the northeast. Meet Tamura the informant and enter the secret entrance in the bathroom. This area, formerly a homeless encampment, is now the site of Kamurocho Hills. Gary Buster Holmes, a former Coliseum fighter, will escort you to meet the boss, Goro Majima, president of Majima Construction.
Kiryu asks Majima to rejoin the Tojo Clan, but Majima agrees only if Kiryu wins a tournament. Prepare yourself, then speak to Majima to begin.
- First Opponent: Di Sciuva - A large Brazilian man with an axe. Be wary of its reach. You can use any equipment and heal as needed.
- Second Opponent: Gary Buster Holmes - A muscular fighter with spiked fists. Dodge his attacks and counter his exposed back.
- Final Opponent: Goro Majima - Use charge attacks to disrupt his rhythm and capitalize on openings. Watch for his flips and kicks. When his health is low, he enters Heat Mode with enhanced attacks and super armor. Consider using weapons to counter him.
After the tournament, speak with Majima in the main house. He agrees to help the Tojo Clan. An alarm sounds, indicating an attempt to steal Kamurocho Hills plans. This is a new Clan Creator mission. For details, refer to the Clan Creator section. For now, survive the initial defense by assigning one member to each equipment and using the remaining three to intercept attackers through barrier gaps.
Following the defense, return to Serena. You can build your Majima Construction roster by returning to the Coliseum. After completing all available activities, climb the back of Serena to end the chapter. You can now start The Majima Saga from the title screen.
