Chapter 8 - Conspiracy

After returning to New Serena, Someya will arrive and ask to accompany Kiryu to the meeting with Lo to end the war between the Tojo and the Saio. Kiryu agrees.

You can now free roam (the open-world mode where you move and play without an active mission) Kamurocho to clean up any unfinished business and purchase healing items.

When ready, return to New Serena and inform Akiyama. Kiryu will wait until evening for Someya to arrive.

Head to Shangri-La with Someya.

Begin by defeating the first group of gang members near the entrance.

Locate rubble blocking a doorway. Grab a hammer from a nearby cabinet to smash the rubble and progress.

Continue smashing rubble and walls ahead, then move through the passage.

Ignore the caged individual and climb the ladder at the end to the next floor.

Grab another hammer and smash crates to find a Staminan X.

Enter the room near the ladder and carefully cross the girders, mashing the indicated button if the large man throws rubble at you.

On the other side, defeat three thugs, smash more rubble, and cross another girder.

After Someya is pulled down, Kiryu will jump down to fight the Hangman.

Defeat the Hangman, who will then smash open a wall revealing another ladder. Climb it.

Beat down the thugs and smash more rubble.

Drop over the railing and climb another ladder.

At the top, smash crates for a Staminan X, then inch through the crack near the ladder.

Defeat three more thugs, smash the rubble wall, and slide along the ledge.

Smash rubble for a Toughness ZZ and a Staminan X.

Hop up the step and over pipes to fight more enemies.

Smash more rubble, cross another girder, and hop over pipes to face a boss-type enemy.

Defeat the boss, smash more rubble, edge along a wall, and climb a ladder to the next floor.

Smash crates for a Toughness Infinity.

Cross the pipe barrier to face the Hangman again. Defeat him, using a nearby hammer if helpful.

Proceed to the final door leading to Lo's room.

Engage in a second fight with Someya. Use the furniture in the room to your advantage. Fight conservatively when furniture is depleted, then use Extreme Heat to finish the fight and the chapter.
