Chapter 2 - Life Blooms Anew

Follow our Yakuza 6: The Song of Life walkthrough for Chapter 2, 'Life Blooms Anew.' Investigate Haruka's accident, chase a mysterious man, and prepare for a fight at the hospital.

Kiryu has many questions about Haruka's presence in Kamurocho and her accident, especially concerning the baby, Haruto Sawamura. Date's coworker, Honjo, escorts Kiryu to Senryo Ave., the scene of the accident. Honjo explains the volatile situation in Kamurocho: the Tojo Clan and the Saio Triad are at war following the Saio boss' son's death, and the Jingweon Mafia is also active.

You must now investigate the scene. Examine the garage, tire tracks, and bloodstain. Only by checking the bloodstain will the story progress. Honjo will notice someone filming you. Approach this person, who will flee. Chase after them; although you can't sprint for long, use the brief moments to recover. The pursuer is marked on your minimap, so close pursuit isn't essential. You'll eventually catch up at the Shichifuku Parking Lot. The individual reveals they are from the Someya Family of the Tojo Clan and are looking out for you on behalf of their boss. You are instructed to head to Tojo Clan HQ via taxi.

Upon arrival, Kiryu meets Takumi Someya, the patriarch of the Someya Family, who leads him to Katsumi Sugai, the acting Chairman of the Tojo Clan. Sugai assures Kiryu that the Tojo Clan was not involved in Haruka's accident. Despite some posturing from rivals, Kiryu leaves without any concrete answers. Returning to the city with no leads, head to New Serena. Mama-san will take your phone and install the Troublr app, which may offer assistance.

Outside, you'll be accosted. Defeat the attackers, which should be relatively easy. Afterward, two peculiar men appear, one with blond hair who resembles a wrestler. Head north to Taihei Blvd. to the objective marker. A man will approach and explain the Troublr app. You will now receive alerts via Troublr; check the attendant section to learn how to resolve them. Shortly after, Date calls, asking you to check on Akiyama at the hospital.

Note: After visiting the hospital, you will be transported to another location for a significant period. It is advisable to complete any desired activities before this point. For maximizing your options in the upcoming location, consider stocking up on the following items:
