Chapter 3: Power Struggle

Head to the beach to find Mitsuo and Taichi engaged in a kumite (a martial arts sparring match).

They will mention Shiro might be in his room. Head back inside the orphanage to find him in the main play room on the left.

Speak to Shiro and exhaust all dialogue options.

Head out and speak to Taichi and Mitsuo again.

Go back to Shiro.

Return to Taichi, who has moved to near the seesaw in the yard.

Go back to Shiro one more time.

The game will advance to the next day. Head out to the street and your neighbor, Miyara, will speak to you.

Miyara will suggest speaking to the local city councilman on the golf course.

Head to the end of the road and go downtown.

You'll be informed that you can now travel to the Golf Course by using the monorail. You can also explore Downtown Ryukyu and access minigames like Karaoke, Shogi, Mahjong, and a gambling hall with Koi-koi, Oicho-kabu, and Cee-lo. Seven normal Substories, three tied to Hostesses, and the Hostess Maker substory are available.

From the Monorail Station, select "Golf Course Station" and approach the desk.

The city councilman will appear. Play three holes of Golf with him. Winning is not required, and you can retry shots.

Head back to Morning Glory orphanage to tell Shiro about your day.

Head inside the orphanage and speak to Ayako, whose money was stolen.

Initiate a house meeting by rounding up everyone: Ayako (speak to her to get her moving), Haruka (kitchen), Eri and Izumi (yard), Mitsuo, Koji, and Shiro (beach), Taichi (west side of the road), and Riona (house at the northwest corner, laundry room).

After the unproductive meeting, head to the main play room and find Eri.

Follow Eri to the beach to talk to her.

Return to the dining room.

Head towards the kitchen. Taichi will inform you that Rikiya is here in his truck.

Head out to the beach, then back to the yard to find Rikiya.

Rikiya needs help finding Saki, who was with Nakahara. You'll be taken downtown.

Head to the Ryudo Office.

Go up Kitaryu St. and a woman will tell you Saki is in Hatsumachi.

Head to the M Store in Hatsumachi and you'll be accosted by Tamashiro Family goons. Beat them down.

You'll be directed to the Tamashiro Office in the west end of the district.

Before entering the Tamashiro Office, you'll meet Kamiyama, a weapons seller. He will give you an Extendable Staff. You can purchase other weapons and gear from Kamiyama Works.

Head back to the Tamashiro Office.

Proceed through several rooms, fighting enemies. The first fight involves four guys with weapons. Use the environment and pick up weapons.

After moving up the stairs, more enemies await. Continue down the hall, smashing lockers to find a Staminan X.

More enemies will appear from a side room containing a Toughness Z.

Under the next bunch of lockers, find another Staminan X.

Up the stairs, go to the back corner of the hallway to find a Tauriner ++.

As you go down the hall, more enemies will emerge from side rooms. The second side room contains a Staminan X.

Head up to the next floor. Find a Tauriner + and a Toughness Z in the hall.

Enter the side room where a group of enemies will lock you in. Defeat them and proceed to the last room.

You will face Tamashiro, patriarch of the Tamashiro Family, who wields a shank. Use the environment and quickstep to avoid his knife attacks. Use weapons and their Heat Actions (special moves), but avoid repeating the same Heat Action.

When Tamashiro is at half health, he will switch to knuckles. Focus on his unprotected back to dodge his attacks.

Defeat Tamashiro to end the chapter.
