The Dogs Know First Walkthrough

First things first, you'll need to make your way to Heavenly Pier. If you haven't already, this area will become accessible as you progress through the main storyline. Once you arrive, turn right and look for a path leading through the tavern area towards the shipping storage by the pier.

Keep an eye on the ground along this path; you're looking for a specific item: a Meaty Bone. Grab it!

Now, with the Meaty Bone in hand, it's time to find a rather vocal villager. Head back into the center of the village and move up the roads to the left of the Brewery. You should spot a barking dog. Approach it and use the Meaty Bone to quiet it down.

After you feed the dog, it'll drop a tag. Pick this up.

The next step is to take this tag to the Blissful Retreat village, which is located to the west of Heavenly Pier. If you've visited before, you can fast travel there. Otherwise, just follow the road west until you reach it.

Once you're in Blissful Retreat, find the trader near the stone structure. Hand over the tag you got from the dog as a gift.

The trader will explain that the tag originates from some mysterious assassins, and advises you to steer clear of their affairs due to their dangerous nature. This concludes The Dogs Know First mystery, giving you a bit more insight into the conflicts happening in the region.
