A Wrench in the Works

Follow our step-by-step guide to complete the 'A Wrench in the Works' mission in Watch Dogs, including finding Angelo Tucci's niece and intercepting his car.

Alright, let's get through 'A Wrench in the Works.' This mission kicks off in the plaza near Willis Tower. Your main goal here is to track down Angelo Tucci's niece. Once you find her, you'll need to hack her phone to get Angelo's location. Don't worry, Clara will help you narrow down the search area to Connelly Square, making it easier to find her.

Once you've hacked her phone and she makes that fake call to her uncle, you'll need to hack it again when she receives the call back. After that, your map will update with a yellow line showing Angelo's route. He's heading south from the north, so if you head east from your current spot, you should intercept him pretty quickly at a traffic light. The objective is to take down his car, but timing is key here.

There are a couple of ways to approach this:

Option 1: The Defensive Route (Beating him on foot)

If you head directly east, you can actually beat Tucci to the traffic light at the highway entrance. From there, you can place an IED on the right lane – just make sure it's not directly in the path of the yellow line. When Tucci's convoy stops at the light, you can detonate the IED to take out his car. Just a heads-up, if there are civilian cars nearby, their occupants might get caught in the blast.

Option 2: The Offensive Route (Staying in the car)

If you prefer to ram him, be careful, as he might try to get away and you'll end up in a chase. A better tactic is to use the traffic lights to cause a crash, forcing him out of his car. Once he's on foot, you can simply run him over with your vehicle to finish the job.

Dealing with the Escort

Angelo's security detail isn't going to be thrilled when you show up. You need to take out Angelo quickly so you can deal with his armed guards. While you *can* kill his security, it's often easier to just make a run for it once Angelo is dealt with. Once the guards give up the chase, you'll complete the mission.
